Mr Rajoo Barot

After graduating from the National School of Drama, India’s premiere theatre institution, in 1977, was a member of National School of Drama repertory Company. Rajoo preferred to come back to Gujarat and dedicate himself to Gujarati theatre.

Besides directing and acting in many plays he has presented many singing programs and also proved himself as a playback singer.

He has received prestigious awards like "Gaurav Purskar" from Gujarat Sangeet Natak Academy, "Best Play Back Singer" for the year 2000, "Best Film Documentary" from the State.  

Mr Abhijat Joshi

Having started his career in theatre as a child actor, Abhijat now mainly writes for Theatre and Films. He is a lecturer in Creative Writing at Ohaio University, US. His radio play A Shaft of Sunlight won the BBC World Service International Playwriting Competition in 1992. He later wrote Gujarati version based on the radio play into a full length drama – Marmbhed – which is seen by many as a landmark play in Gujarati theatre! Abhijat has scripted several  Hindi feature films such as kareeb, Mission Kashmir and  his recent fame ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ .

Mr Akhand Vyas

A freelance interior designer by profession Akhand contributes with sensitivity to the scenic design in Theatre Groups’ productions.

Mr Ghanshyam Patel

Ghanshyam started off as a backstage worker and today after 15 years, with his interest and commitment to theatre, has become one of the most sought after Production Controller for theatre, television and films. Extremely talented as an actor too, he is always ready to learn and add to his already vast knowledge of executing ‘theatrical effects’

Mr Bhavesh N. Pattni

Bhavesh started his career as backstage artist and today after 15 committed years to the theatre and television. He is backstage artist, actor, assistant director and music compiler as well music operator for theatre. He also work as Assistant Director and Editor for television serials and documentary films with enough aesthetic sense, adding to the beauty of production. He also has special interest in theatrical effects. He has continued to  pursue  astrology as his main profession.

Mr Ashish Kakkad

An energetic Theatre Director and Actor Ashish has dedicated more than 12 years to the theatre and television serials. He has directed plays for various colleges plus has performed well in dramas. He has background of Enadu Television as Executive Producer for various television serials hence has got enough ability and experience of executing things in right manner. He has developed well as writer and light designer as well as light operator too.

Mr Maharshi Raval

Maharshi is a tabla player from Ahmedabad shows promising talent. Maharshi has been learning music for the last 15 years at Saptak School of Music in Ahmedabad. He has travelled extensively to various parts of the world as an accompanist to Indian Classical vocalists and instrumentalists. He also performed at concerts with Pt. Kishan Maharaj, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Pt. Rajan-Sajan Mishra, Late Ustad Allarakha Khan, Pt. Ronu Majumdar, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, etc as the audience! , Maharshi runs a music institute at Ahmedabad - Shree Gajanan Cultural Mission - The Institute of Music and Dance. Here, he trains young students in tabla playing.

Mr. Kamal Shah

Kamal Shah is a very experienced theatre actor and lover. He has helped many theatre groups and individuals in many possible ways over the years. He is man of communication and marketing. His excellence is in his marketing plans and strategies.

Ms Darshana Shah

A teacher by profession, a theatre lover and an actor.

Mr Dilip Dave

An actor. He works as production Manager in Theatre as well in television serials, documentaries and films. He has special skill of coordination and has coordinated many groups  for various projects.

Ms Nafisa Barot

A  Leading social activist with a strong affiliation with theatre and  music. Involved in acting, and contributing in script  writing  of plays and documentaries on various subject.

Mr. Deval Mehta

A passionate and creative music director. He has composed music for dance, films, TV serials  such as Chacha Chaudhary, Time Bomb, Prime Minister, Saraswati Chandra. He has also composed music for a number of plays. He has deep interest in folk music.

Mr. Shailesh Prajapati

  An excellent actor with a great commitment towards theatre. He has     produced and directed a Gujarati feature film ‘Dikari Maari Vhalno Dario’. He is   a sensible TV producer too.
